The pose is one of intense concentration and grace, where the beauty of the subject is allowed to present externally. The dress and the wings, as well as what I perceive to be a hair modulation are in line with this idea.
The only sense or inkling of a flaw I can find with this work are the specific angle of the wings, as incredible in detail as they are. From a physics standpoint, the body and the wings are not in line, even as they would be should the torso be in motion.
In that event, the left wing should be closer to the foreground, no matter the direction the subject is turning. But note, I was forced by virtue of a critique to locate and bring this up.
It is plain to see that a great deal of attention to detail was placed into this work, and that is easily appreciated by the viewer when they first see it. This work is engineered to grab the focus immediately and elicit a response, and it succeeds.
This is certainly one of the best of its genre I have seen. In a phrase: resoundingly incredible.
